AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it's been a long time since I wrote anything but thats cuz anything that I might have had to talk about wasn't really noteworthy until tonight.  Some of you may know that lately Wal-mart has been screwing with my schedule since I started back t school.  They would have me work during the week before 5, problem is I have band and they would schedule me for Tuesdays which I can't do because I have a night class.

Now I did turn in paperwork, twice, telling them all that.  But they still decided that they would schedule me for those times.  I was able to get it changed but it was the fact that they didn't change my availability.  well a few weeks went by and I had talked to the Managers and they said they would take care of it.  I had no reason not to believe them. This is where it gets bad.

I go to check my new schedule and I look at my hours for friday the 29th and they have me working 2-8.  now I still have classes and it is the day before a football game.  And I am NOT about to miss an entire practice BEFORE our first home game to work.  so as advised by some of my friends from work,  I go and talk to the lady in personel, who tells me that there is a possibility that it could have been denied to deal with customer service.     Here's the problem with that statement.  whether or not I am approved for my availability change, I still will not be there. so customer service is f*cked either way.

Fortunately that wasn't the issue.  the lady looked in my profile to see if it was ever approved.  It turned out that the request was signed for approval and had been marked stating that it was put in the system.  when she looked on the computer to see if maybe it was overrided by a member of management, we found out that IT WAS NEVER ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!  as I said, I turned in a request form twice both before band camp one a MONTH IN ADVANCE!!!!  so anyway, she said she was gonna fix it.  BUT....to make sure that it is completely taken care of, when I return to work on Wed. I will double check with them and see if it is still fixed. If it is not then I am going to the store manager and telling him that this needs to be fixed or I'm going to quit.  This is ridiculus. I have really had it.

So, IDK what's going to happen. But I will say that this better get fixed.

I HELD THE TICKETS IN MY HAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dad finally brought the tickets home from work and they looked so pretty.  I wanted to frame them and hang them above my computer so I could look at them nonstop!!!!!  But then I realized I need to wait for that till after the game....thats more important right now.

ANYWAY, thats all I have for now.  later

So my question to those who read my entries on a steady basis is, what are you doing on August the 6th????

I know what I'm doing......  I AM GOING TO THE PRO FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME GAME!!!!!!!!!  FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, I GET TO SEE THE OAKLAND RAIDERS PLAY LIVE, WHILE THEY ARE ROUGHLY 20 YARDS AWAY FROM ME!!!!!

My dad was able to get some tickets from his job and he and I are going to go!!!!!   I don't think I have been this happy since Stacy agreed to marry me!!!!

But anyway, I just thought I'd share that tidbit of information to all of my loyal readers.  If you decide to watch the game, see if you can find me on tv.  IDK what side I'll be on but look for me anyway.

OK, so heres whats new!!!

It is official, as of july 29th 2 things are happening; A: I am getting new glasses. YAY!!!!   They are completely rimless which makes it better cuz I was told that I would never have rimles glasses cuz of the thickness of my lenses but Im getting them.  B: I AM OFFICIALLY MOVING TO HARDWARE!!!!!   no more dealing with irrate customers at a line and having to stand around waiting for a manager to come to me.  Now I can go to my managers or even deal with the situation myself.  That and I finally get away from crowded register lines that make me clostrophobic.  I just don't like having people on top of me like that when I'm tryin to work, esepcially when Im trying to work quickly to get everyone out and on their way.  And I just like working with people more than, 'hi. how are you?" and then them just standing there staring at me while I scan all their stuff.  I feel like Im doing more for the customer.  IDK maybe Im just dumb or whatever.  IDC I like what Im going to get to do.

But any way thats all the news for now.

Ok, time for new entry

Something so cool happened today that it deserves a xanga entry.  So I was in Customer service today,, and we had a lady with her husband and 2 kids.  They wanted to return a VERY large boom box that she said was a gift from her mother in Pensylvania.  She didn't have a receipt so i had to call an associate from electronics.  Richard, one of the higer-ups in electronics, came over and helped us attempt to look up the information on the boom box, but it wasn't showing in our system.

The lady, when we asked her specifically where it came from, kept saying the same line, "it was a gift"  and not giving us a location like a store or anything like that.  After Richard explainded to them that we couldn't return it cuz it wasn't in our system, he noticed that the store number that the boom box came from was on the side of the box.  it was the number for the store on route 62 and that it had been stolen.  And this is no small stereo.  It was huge like i said.  This is where i got to thinking how they could have stolen it without someone seeing.  Then it hit me.  Her husband was sitting at the computer we use for people to apply for a job, and the lady asked me how long we kept the information on file for job applications.  when i told her 60 days she didn't look or sound too happy about that.  It made me think that one of them may have worked at the store in Harmont and taken it from work to get the money for it, and that they may have been trying to do it again at a different store.  I don't know if thats what they were doing but all I do know is that I, in my small and semi insignificant way of only starting off the "transaction", helped stop some one from stealing from our store right infront of us.

Any way, other than that nothing really new to report.  I'm excited about goin back to school, only a little more than a month.....  But thats all for today.
